According to the FTC disclosure policy I need to state what I am doing with this blog and (all and all) be an upfront guy about my attempts to make money off this site.  If you’ve been poking around my blog, chances are you figured that out already.  But in the spirit (and risk) of being slightly redundant… I will comply.

The Reliquum.com blog covers all aspects of my life and my work, from my artwork and original pieces, to my hobbies and philosophical practices, and within I even affiliate myself with people, products, or things I endorse… so let’s break them down…
*****
My artwork I do make money from, I doubt you’d fault me for that, it’s mine… but I do use third party sellers currently out of convenience (and frankly time). If you click on a link to my artwork, you can be taken to a site to buy it in any medium currently available…
*****
The highlighted links in my posts are often to affiliate sites (Amazon for instance) and if you choose to buy the item, then I will receive compensation for suggesting it…

My recommendations and reviews (although these will probably be fairly infrequent) are honest and upfront. However, each will have a link to said product for you to buy, if you should wish to do so… you are certainly not obligated, particularly on things I don’t endorse, but if you do buy them then I will receive a commission.

At times I may review a product that has been gifted to me, and I will always be upfront and honest that it was given to me for the specific reason to review in a post… Depending on the item (as appropriate) I may give it away when I am done… or I may just as easily keep it if it’s something I’ll use again. Either way, I do not believe it will affect my impartiality, or my honesty.

I am also (currently anyway) a member of the Amazon Associates program, meaning if you click an Amazon link I’ve posted on this site and you wind up purchasing it… I may get a small cut of the sale. It’s possible, but honestly it’s most likely not though…

So that’s it… I do get paid in part to do this. It’s how I can keep doing it.
