So, while I continue to build up the layers of latex mold on these pieces, and I’m excited by the prospect I will be able to make a mold of a d20 and eventually make my own “lucky orgonite” dice.

However, I thought the base stone floor piece was finally ready today, and upon freeing the original, I’m quite pleased with final and I hold out hope the other connecting pieces will also come out fine when those molds are complete, and they’ll all fit together nicely.
That meant it was time to start painting the stone sections of the the City Builder set I’ve been working on. I’m using the same two shades of medium and light gray I used on past sets. Below is a pic of a before and after application of the light grey.
There are far less stone pieces than wooden ones, but the set definitely has some fun pieces, and I particularly love the bridge sections. Here is is dry-brushed, and I put two of the little light-up torches in the windows to see how it’d look.
There’s a lot more work to do, but it’s starting to take shape.
