So Aaron and I have been talking quite a bit, and he’s now helping me to brainstorm how best to run my soon to be relaunched (and filmed) Blackspire RPG and to create a web-series based around it.

For now, I’ve got the monumental task of getting him up to speed on the setting and story thus far that he’ll be able to provide useful feedback. Remember, we’d reached Session 77 of that campaign before putting it on hold to give me a break, and so that we could focus on our new Realms campaign.
There’s a lot of nuance, but as of now I’ve sent Aaron maps of everything he needs to have from the start of the relaunch, from the first building to be explored, to the surrounding business, surrounding neighborhood, the greater city ward, a map of the entire city of Blackspire, and then a map of the entire known world.

Just the tip of the iceberg, but enough to whet his whistle. Next I have to send him a recap of the entire campaign, highlighting the events that most directly lead to, or tie-in with the current “Jade Town” story line.
