Kickstart My Heart

I saw today that my friend (and old college roommate) Michael Bracco is launching a Kickstarter for his new graphic novel “The Creators Vol 1 Imagination is Power”. I’ve always loved Michael’s line-work and crazy characters, and so naturally I backed it. He and I ended up buying homes in generally the same part of town, and I still run into him and his family at the store sometimes…

I also got a call from Dave Bowen of Rocket Sales Consultants, the old colleague who’s going to be helping Kevin and myself with the Kickstarter we also plan to do for a special edition of Serial Artist. Still a lot to figure out, but both Kevin and I are optimistic.

I’ve also started to de-clutter and reorganize my studio work space, as I’ve gotten a hankering lately to do some more molds and also some miniature painting. And, while I was cleaning up, I came across a bunch of old scratch board pieces I did back in college. They’ve a little beat up, but though it might be fun to scan and clean them up a bit to see how they’d look. I’ve also put them up on my Redbubble page, just in case anyone likes one enough they want a copy.
