So, last night I’d gone to bed early, but Jenny apparently stayed up, and did her own private ritual involving Sekhmet, Bastet, Kali, and others… and while I have no idea what she actually did, whatever it was seems to have worked, and I think she turned a major corner today.

She’s got an important meeting on Friday, but I’m confident everything will work out the way it need to.
I don’t talk about it much, but my chiropractor seemed pleased with my spine today, which after the long car rides to and from my Mom’s on Sunday, I took as an especially good sign of progress in that department.
I’m getting exciting about the prospect of creating my own cast pieces for my city builder set. I’ve applied another later of the rubber latex mold solution to the pieces I’ve chosen. It’s going to take a number of coats to get these where they’ll need to be, but I’ve asked Wimsaur for his suggestions for getting some epoxy in bulk, and he turned me on to some that I may be purchasing in the future.
I’ve also decided to make a mold of a 4″ x 4″ floor piece, but rather than making a mold of four 2″ floor pieces from the Dungeons set, I chose some diagonal triangles (and two that were jagged which together look like a big crack) and used them together to make the final mold.
You can see the before and after of the molds first coat of the new mold and the third coat of the floor piece I’m reproducing. I’ve run out of the mold solution at this point, so I’ve gone ahead and ordered more.
I also had a total of three calls with Aaron today. Two were about Black Knight, but one was just about his Realms game. It’s been really fun to “play god” and discuss all the philosophical and cosmological background stuff of his game. He’s also given me some ideas of where I might try to look for some more side writing work.
I always need to be chewing on more than I can bite off I guess…
