Where’d That Pesky Time Go..?

Whether it’s a True Detective inspired Southern Gothic-style the Crucible meets Cthulhu or an 80’s satanic panic kids on bikes-style Willy Wonka meets Halloween III, you’re in for the most nightmarish of mashup episodes imaginable. But, then again… too much additional explanation here simply risks spoiling the show.

Christmas Came EARLY this Year…

So today (and it being a New Moon and all) I sent out to my editor the finished first draft script for my story “Iceland’s Last Yule/First Christmas”… which ended up taking the Yule Lad folklore, and using it as a vehicle to be one big love letter to Viking culture, Icelandic history and sagas, Norse mythology, comparative religion, dark fantasy, and of course all things magick.

Progression Towards Progressing Progress (Progressively)…

This week I was also pleased to be invited to GM a game at the RPG Baltimore gaming convention being held next weekend. I’ve been teasing Jenny about running a session for her concerning her character’s initiation into the Cult of the Spire, and so the one-shot I’m putting together will play through that very scenario, but with the help of other thinking players driving it (which will feel way more authentic for what that stuff is all about).

Dark Moon Now… Dark Moon Soon…

We’ll actually see two New Moons before this month is out, and today even boasted a solar eclipse (albeit in South America). This month of darkness promises the chance to hit the reset button on everything… which isn’t necessarily a good thing… but perhaps a necessary one.
