Refreshing Start

There’s not really a ton to say about this week, other than things all seem to be working out in tiny incremental, but generally successful ways… While I do feel like IRead More…

What Can I Put Behind Me..?

I don’t know if the timing is auspicious, or just ironic, as I crested my 1000th subscriber this week, and so now that channel is (or was) officially monetized so to speak… I don’t know what that actually means at all… if anything… but it feels like a milestone that I’ve finally passed…

Faces Forward

To start with I feel like I’ve wrapped up work on the three miniatures I’d been painting. While I plan to actually set up the old light box and get some better shots of each, even standing on my work table they look pretty bad-ass.

Re-Newed Moon

Dare we hope that upon entering Scorpio we’re now perhaps finally past this turbulent time. Things seem to finally be moving in that direction, but until we’ve fully past the night ofRead More…

Jenaissance Faire: Part 2

So this week did play host to a few landmark events, I’d say. While we still felt the rumblings of the so-called “month of rescheduling” I do feel like things are gettingRead More…

Christmas Came EARLY this Year…

So today (and it being a New Moon and all) I sent out to my editor the finished first draft script for my story “Iceland’s Last Yule/First Christmas”… which ended up taking the Yule Lad folklore, and using it as a vehicle to be one big love letter to Viking culture, Icelandic history and sagas, Norse mythology, comparative religion, dark fantasy, and of course all things magick.

Renaissance Woman (aka: the Jenaissance Faire)

I buckled down and plowed through the edits on Episode 33 of Adventure Hook. Jenny noted lately that my editing skills are improving, and I think the extra touches I’m starting to give to these episodes really improves the overall listening experience. I think this was another great show, and I’ve gotten pretty good at creating the majority show notes while I edit the episode… so that’s all wrapped up and ready for release on Patreon Monday…

A Quiet Week (only ONE rock concert…) This Time

To start with, our latest (All Ages!) episode of Adventure Hook debuted on Patreon this week, and it’s another type of approach to hopefully bring in new listeners. Maybe one of whom might really dig my idea for educational RPG workbooks and even find a way to one day introduce it as a type of curriculum.

By the Blackest Moon

I’m very pleased to announce (at long last) my graphic novel Serial Artist is finally now also available on the ComiXology platform. Sink or swim, love it or hate it, in this venue Serial Artist can finally be “cast in amber” and set on the shelf for all time.

Progression Towards Progressing Progress (Progressively)…

This week I was also pleased to be invited to GM a game at the RPG Baltimore gaming convention being held next weekend. I’ve been teasing Jenny about running a session for her concerning her character’s initiation into the Cult of the Spire, and so the one-shot I’m putting together will play through that very scenario, but with the help of other thinking players driving it (which will feel way more authentic for what that stuff is all about).
