Where’d That Pesky Time Go..?

Whether it’s a True Detective inspired Southern Gothic-style the Crucible meets Cthulhu or an 80’s satanic panic kids on bikes-style Willy Wonka meets Halloween III, you’re in for the most nightmarish of mashup episodes imaginable. But, then again… too much additional explanation here simply risks spoiling the show.

Christmas Came EARLY this Year…

So today (and it being a New Moon and all) I sent out to my editor the finished first draft script for my story “Iceland’s Last Yule/First Christmas”… which ended up taking the Yule Lad folklore, and using it as a vehicle to be one big love letter to Viking culture, Icelandic history and sagas, Norse mythology, comparative religion, dark fantasy, and of course all things magick.

Renaissance Woman (aka: the Jenaissance Faire)

I buckled down and plowed through the edits on Episode 33 of Adventure Hook. Jenny noted lately that my editing skills are improving, and I think the extra touches I’m starting to give to these episodes really improves the overall listening experience. I think this was another great show, and I’ve gotten pretty good at creating the majority show notes while I edit the episode… so that’s all wrapped up and ready for release on Patreon Monday…

A Quiet Week (only ONE rock concert…) This Time

To start with, our latest (All Ages!) episode of Adventure Hook debuted on Patreon this week, and it’s another type of approach to hopefully bring in new listeners. Maybe one of whom might really dig my idea for educational RPG workbooks and even find a way to one day introduce it as a type of curriculum.
