The full moon arrives this month to even sport a (partial) lunar eclipse, and things seem well on their way towards blossoming into their next stage of growth…

For my part, the big hurdle this week was finishing up the show notes and edits on the latest episode of Adventure Hook. This was the “big one” where I got to choose the Hook, and decided to use the opportunity and perform a form of Service to Others…

The idea behind this scenario was to use the show as a platform for a sort of predictive programming… and through the lens of an RPG campaign world that was comprised of all of the most bizarre conspiracy theories ever claimed… manage to demonstrate how all of them still logically connect.

Sort of an easy way some “Woke” folks can reach out to initiate their “somnambulent” acquaintances into their world in a way they can easily dismiss rather than pop their brains all at once…

Still, it give that stuff a chance to get in there and work its magic(k)…

We had a blast recording it, and even though we didn’t cover something like 90% of the notes I’d prepared, I still think we paint a very interesting picture indeed, and one which hopefully will pique the curiosity of at least one listener to go a bit deeper into researching some of this stuff on their own…

I was especially pleased with the promo art I put together for this episode, as I think it’s a pretty strong design that sums up the show quite nicely…

We’ve put off recording Episode 30 until after Aaron gets back from the San Diego ComicCon., which is fine. It doesn’t need to be finished until technically next month (plus it’s his turn to edit anyway).

This week, we also (finally) put out the second installment of our Patreon Exclusive episode of Legend Lore where we talk about the Red Moon Roleplaying game (while we were between game sessions 1 and 2).

Good timing, as the seventh and final episode of To Baator and Back came out today as well…

Debuting during the New Moon, and cycling through two Full Moons to finish releasing the day of the second one AND and lunar eclipse at that… you might almost think I’d planned it all from the beginning…

Well… someone did…

The show keeps getting spikes with every new episode, but that’s it for anything new on RMR for a while (though the guys are keen to work together again) so I need more content for the potential listener. So, this week I also (finally) mocked up the edits for the first two Blackspire Season 2 teasers I’ll start periodically releasing to try to get folks to come support the show on Patreon, and even become a part of it.

And speaking of Season 2 stuff…

Swallow at the Hollow does $5 burgers on Wednesdays, so Jenny and I met up with some friends there as well this week (including one future Blackspire Season 2 player)… and (in one way or another) wound up talking about a lot of the above stuff… though probably not as much podcasting stuff as we should have… Next time for sure…

I’ve also been prepping for the Blackspire game I will be GMing (and recording) at the upcoming RPGB gaming show on Saturday…

I’ve actually made yet “breakthrough” in using magickal diagrams to create “harmonized conflict” between characters, and plan to try a little experiment with it come this weekend.

Jenny and I also planned to attend a Folk Metal show at the Depot with fellow gaming buddy Garrett… and so we needed some hard core fuel… hence this epic cast iron baked pepperoni and jalapeno pizza Jenny and I made beforehand.

(One of) our buddy John‘s band Teshaleh was the act we came to see, but were really blown away by the performance of Bastion’s Wake as well. However, Teshaleh’s performance was way fun and (thanks to a few choice cover songs) really got the crowd hyped (do you see me in the background there?)…

Yet, that was nothing compared to the little mosh pit that formed mid-set. What was probably even stranger was something possessed me to jump right into the mix with the rest of them like some guy 10 to 15 years younger than I am…

The entire event was recorded for posterity. See if you can pick me out… I’m the guy that gets shoved into the keyboard..!

Fun stuff! And a great show! And it made me feel 10 years younger for a few minutes, so there you go!

The full moon marks yet another performance of our monthly Abundance ritual, which I really was able to get into quite effortlessly this time (and am quite grateful for that). I also find myself doing the occasional operation for other loved ones as well, though with new (and sorely needed) new job also starting this week, things are really starting to find more even footing again…

I even got another piece of exciting news in regards to certain distribution options for Serial Artist (and probably so overdue as to be embarrassing)…

…but until I have a concrete date to hang on it all… and with SDCC to compete with, I’m not anxious to get lost among all that noise this week anyway, so hopefully there will be more to say in a week or two.

And in a way completely disparate, and in another tying it all together (as I even hinted at such things in Adventure Hook Ep 29: Full Disclosure) the eclipse also prompted another mass meditation of the 144K group, and while I missed the live group session, I’ll be popping on after completing this blog post to lend my efforts to the cause…

Thankfully, I’ve been getting back into doing more Kundalini yoga exercises, so even though it’s late I feel up to another of these (rather intense) mass meditations…

Jenny also picked up this pretty sweet tapestry cloth to cover the futon in the studio, and it really does wonders to energize the vibe of the room…

Not saying it’s responsible for improving everything around it… but it certainly can’t be hurting…
